Which Students Are Eligible to Apply?

Our Fall 2024 award is offered to members of single-parent households who are pursuing an education in law. The applicant must be a single parent or a child of a single parent. Other eligibility criteria include:

Must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or law school for the Fall 2024 semester

Must be pursuing a law degree or paralegal program

Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0

Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States

The Law Office of Philip W. Moore, Jr. Leadership Excellence Scholarship

The Law Office of Philip W. Moore, Jr. recently launched a scholarship program that offers $1,000 each semester to a student pursuing higher education. Applications for the Leadership Excellence Scholarship are due March 12, 2024 and criteria for eligible candidates is below:

  • The student is currently or will be in the future a member of their university’s Greek life OR honors program.
  • The student achieved a 3.0 GPA or higher in their most recently completed academic semester.
  • The student will be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university within the United States for the Spring semester of 2024.
  • The student will be at least 18 years of age upon distribution of the award.

The Law Office of George J. Skuros Justice in Family Law Scholarship

ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR FALL 2024

The Law Office of George J. Skuros Justice in Family Law Scholarship is open to a current or aspiring law student who wants to bring positive change to family law practice and policy. The award, in the amount of $1,000, can be applied to tuition and other educational expenses at the college, university, or law school where the recipient is enrolled.

Our scholarship opportunity has officially been relaunched for the next cycle of applicants and is accepting applications from interested students through June 12, 2024.  Students can apply through the scholarship page on our website at https://www.skuroslaw.com/family-law-scholarship

Who is Eligible to Apply?

To apply for the Justice in Family Law Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

  • You are enrolled (or will be) in an accredited undergraduate or J.D. program at a U.S. college or university for Fall 2024
  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are a U.S. citizen
  • You have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
