Come join the Akron Criminal Justice Society today 9/12 for our first General Meeting of the school year. The meeting will be held in Room 167 at the Law School from 12:15-1. We plan to discuss the future of ACJS, our annual trip, fundraising events, and more! Food will be provided, and we look forward to meeting all of our new members!

The Office of Academic Success will be offering a workshop next week on how to outline your legal classes. If you are would like a bit of guidance with figuring out what you are supposed to put into an outline and how, this is the workshop for you! These events will be held in Room 301 (3rd floor of the Library) on 9/18 (5pm-6pm) and 9/19 (1:10 pm-2:10pm). Please join us for helpful tips on surviving your first semester in law school! The law school’s annual community service event – Akron Law Cares- will take place on Saturday, September 22, 2012. Students, faculty, administration and alumni work together during this community service project to assist low-income residents living in Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority apartments.
