Bar Exam Review Course Fellowship — MAY 2012 JD GRADUATES

ATTN: MAY 2012 J.D. GRADUATING CLASS

All May 2012 graduates who have registered for a commercial Bar Review Course will each receive a flat $1,000 Bar Exam Review Course Fellowship after they complete the Exit Interview with Akron Law’s Career Planning & Placement Office (CPPO) and comply with the other requirements as specified on this application form. This process includes submission of this form to CPPO, receipt of bar review course registration, and approval signature by CPPO. Checks will be processed beginning March 1 and weekly thereafter for May 2012 graduates.

NEED BASED Bar Review Course Scholarships for May 2012 Graduates

In addition to the $1,000 Bar Exam Review Course Fellowship, students who have demonstrated financial need and need help to cover the remaining cost of a commercial bar review course, may apply for a Need Based Bar Review Course Scholarship. The Asian-Latino Law Students Association will hold a general meeting on Thursday, February 16 at 12:30 in W-206. If you are interest in running for office next year, please attend this meeting. Food will be served.

ACLU’s will hold its first spring semester general meetings on Feb. 10 at 12:15 and 5 pm in L-134. We will discuss possible dates for a trip to Washington D.C. and how the election of next year’s officers will work as well as ideas for spring events.
