Law Library Reading & Final Exam Period Information

OASP and Sum and Substance

The circulation period and overdue fines for OASP and Sum and Substance materials will change November 24 and continue through the end of the semester. These materials will circulate for only 24 hours (instead of 72) and no renewals will be allowed.  Overdue fines for these materials will increase from $1.00 per day to $5.00 per day.

These changes provide access to the materials for a greater number of students. If you have questions regarding these changes please stop by the Circulation Desk and ask to speak with Ms. Nevins or a librarian.

LAW – Angel Tree

Just in time for the holidays, the Law Association for Women is collecting gifts for Angel Tree! This year, we are partnering with Truly Reaching You ministry for our public service project. Truly Reaching You works with men exiting the prison system and gives them a hand up in reintegrating into society. Students will be sitting at a table in the Lounge Wednesday the 17th, Thursday the 18th, and Friday the 19th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. handing out tags for Angel Tree. Each tag has two requested gifts on it for children in need. Each gift should cost between $15 and $20. Gifts should be wrapped and should be put in the box outside of the Law Association for Women office in the Lounge. The gifts are due Wednesday, November 24th. Please take the time to help! Thanks! For more information, or to request a tag, please contact: Emily A. Borchert, eab51@zips.uakron.edu, 317-364-7041
