Northwestern Mutual Financial Network is hiring and will be here at Akron Law School tomorrow, Thursday, April 8 at 12:15 p.m. to talk to students about their internship program and how other lawyers are using their law degrees as financial representatives.  All students are invited and encouraged to attend. Presentation will be in Room W-214. See you there!

This is just a periodic reminder to protect your belongings

Please do not leave your valuables alone anywhere in the School of Law.  Your textbooks, bookbags, purses, laptops and other belongings can be easily taken in just “30 seconds.”

We welcome visitors to the School of Law and to the Law Library, both those associated with the University and those who are not.  Having open doors, however, also means anyone can come into the building.  It would be wise to always be careful and make it a habit to never leave your belongings unattended.

American Association for Justice Election – Apr. 14 at 4 pm

Judicial Clerkship Workshop – Today, Tuesday, April 6 at 12:15 in Room 210

 The Career Planning Office presents an informational workshop on state and federal judicial clerkships. All current students (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year part-time students) are encouraged to attend. Learn about different types of judicial clerkships and how and when to apply. Current and former state and federal court law clerks will be available to answer your questions and share their insight. This workshop will be held today, Tuesday, April 6 at 12:15 in Room 210.  Pizza will be served to those attend.
