Law and Leadership Institute Seeks Law Students for Summer Jobs
The Law and Leadership Institute seeks a work-study law student to assist with the summer program. The student would assist the site supervisor with administrative tasks to support the program. This is not a teaching position. The position would begin in June 2010. The student would be required to be at the law school on a daily basis from July 6, 2010 to August 6, 2010. SBA Now Accepting Officer Nominations
Are you a leader? Consider running for an SBA officer position. SBA is accepting nominations for class representatives and executive office positions. Nominations for all positions will be accepted until Thursday, April 1. General elections will begin online on Monday, April 5. Winners will be announced on Monday, April 12.
Each class year is broken down into Full-Time and Part-Time student officers. For example, 1L and 2L Full-Time students may elect up to three class representatives each, with the top vote getter becoming next year’s class president. 1L, 2L and 3L Part-Time students may elect up to three class representatives each, with the top vote getter becoming next year’s class president.
Additionally, any student may run for one of the six SBA Executive Officer positions. Those positions include: President, Part-Time Vice-President, Full-Time Vice-President, Part-Time Secretary, Full-Time Secretary, and Treasurer.
