Twice a year, we offer The Devadoss Law Firm Civil Rights Scholarship ($1,000) to college students throughout the United States who are pursuing a law degree.

Our award is available to students who meet the following criteria:

• Current or aspiring law student
• Citizen or permanent resident of the United States
• Enrolled at an accredited college or university within the United States as an undergraduate or graduate student for the upcoming semester
• At least 17 years of age

Our next scholarship deadline is March 5, 2024.

We are a law firm based in Plano, Texas offering two awards each of with a value of $1,000 to students pursuing a higher education who have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement. Our defense firm has a great appreciation for intelligence, diligence, and determination and we aim to share this appreciation with students who have worked hard throughout their academic careers.

• Student applicants must have achieved a 3.6 GPA or higher
• Student applicants will be enrolled at an accredited university or college for the Spring 2024 semester
• Student applicants must be a citizen or permanent residents of the United States

Our scholarship contest does require an essay of approximately 1,000 words. Students must apply by January 8, 2024.

Hanning & Sacchetto, LLP is proud to offer the H&S Legal Scholarship.  This $1,000 annual scholarship is designed to help defray the cost of education and related expenses and will be awarded to a student who has demonstrated academic achievement, moral decency, and legal aptitude.  The H&S Legal Scholarship recipient must be a US citizen, accepted to and attending an accredited undergraduate or law school in the Fall of 2023, and have at least a 3.0 GPA.

Requirements:

Applicants must submit the following before December 31, 2023

• Resume
• School Transcripts
• Acceptance letter from an accredited undergraduate or law school
• Copy of your birth certificate (or permanent residency card)
• 500-1,000 word essay about what you hope to achieve in your legal career

Award:

• The scholarship recipient will be announced on January 15, 2024
• Scholarship to defray the cost of education and related expenses
• Payment will be made via check issued directly to the recipient

Deadline:

All applications are due before December 31, 2023.  Only applications submitted electronically through this page will be considered.  Please do not contact our firm directly about this scholarship.

Kanoski Bresney, our Central Illinois law firm, is offering five scholarship awards, each in the amount of $1,000, to support students throughout the U.S. who are starting or continuing their college or university education in the Fall 2024 semester. 

The Kanoski Bresney Stand Up to Distracted Driving Scholarship runs from November 30, 2023, to May 29, 2024. You can find information, eligibility criteria, and application instructions on our scholarship page at https://www.kanoski.com/community-involvement/distracted-driving-scholarship. 

We ask that applicants submit an original essay in response to the prompt: “How has distracted driving affected your life? What ideas do you have to raise awareness of the dangers of distracted driving and prevent this behavior among young drivers?”
