The City of Akron, Law Department has positions available in the Civil and Criminal Divisions. The duties may include conducting interviews with the public as part of a criminal complaint process; researching and writing, including drafting briefs to be filed in the Ninth District Court of Appeals; and prosecuting traffic offenses in Akron Municipal Court after getting an intern certificate.
