Introduction to Federal Practice Seminar – Great Networking Opportunity – Attend for FREE!

The Federal Bar Association, Northern District of Ohio Chapter is sponsoring the Introduction to Federal Practice CLE seminar on Friday, January 28, 2011 at the Carl B. Stokes U.S. Courthouse in Cleveland.

 This seminar was designed to provide lawyers with the practical foundation they need in order to practice in the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio and satisfies the training requirement of Local Rule 83.5.  A distinguished line-up of presenters includes Chief Judge Solomon Oliver, Jr., Magistrate Judge Greg White, Clerk of Court Geri M. Smith, Catherine Garcia-Feehan (career law clerk to Senior Judge David A. Katz), Sharon K. Derivan (career law clerk to Judge Sara Lioi), and David Zendlo (administrator of courtroom technology for the U.S. District Court, ND Ohio).  The program will also feature a walk-through of the court.

 Immediately following the program, participants who have completed the course and otherwise met the requirements of Local Rule 83.5 will be sworn in to practice before the Northern District of Ohio.
