Wooster, OH – Deputy Clerk of the Court – Wayne County Juvenile Court
Symplicity Job No. 2420 – *NOTE: All inquiries regarding this position should be directed to the hiring agency and NOT the Supreme Court of Ohio. The Wayne County Juvenile Court is seeking to fill an immediate opening for a deputy clerk of the court.

Duties – The deputy clerk maintains case files, receives paper pleadings and other documents, computerized, digitized or microfilmed records of the court cases. The deputy clerk receives, disburses and accurately accounts for public funds in the form of fines, court costs and fees. The deputy clerk communicates with the public, attorneys, court staff, law enforcement, social services and other government agencies and litigants in person, by telephone and by written communication.

Education and Experience Requirements – Graduation from high school and preferably supplemented by courses in computer skills and operation of office machines. No licensure is required.

Proficiencies – The successful candidate must possess bookkeeping skills; upon completion of training, must be capable of operating the court’s computerized database, document preparation and accounting programs; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook helpful.  Deadline:  May 6, 2011
