If you would like to proceed with admission to the JD/LLM in Intellectual Property Program, please:

1.  Complete this application at  http://www.uakron.edu/dotAsset/2042077.pdf

2.  Email Assistant Dean Thorpe at LThorpe@uakron.edu to schedule a time to meet and map your JD/LLM program.

Once the JD/LLM mapping is completed, it will be submitted to Professor Samuels for approval.   When that has been accomplished, your program code will be converted to JD/LLM in Intellectual Property Law.

College Program Specialist Liz Sauders is in the process of arranging to have a new JD/LLM program code created AND to have a new DARS graduation clearance program created.

In the meantime, you may access the JD/LLM Joint Degree Requirements Checklist to track your academic progress  at  http://www.uakron.edu/dotAsset/2042081.pdf    Please consult with Professor Samuels as you progress through the program regarding your course selections and future offerings.    Key LL.M. degree program information may be found at the following starting point:  http://www.uakron.edu/law/curriculum/llm/index.dot

In addition, there may also be time to apply for the Certificate in Intellectual Property (depending on where you are in the JD program)   See  http://www.uakron.edu/law/curriculum/cp.dot for details.

We look forward to working with you!

Best wishes,

Lauri S. Thorpe

Assistant Dean of Admission, Financial Aid, & Student Services
