The New Youk Board of Bar Examiners has asked the Akron Law administration to assist in alerting our students who plan to take the New York Bar Examination to read Board Rule 6000.9 on Fraud, Dishonesty and other Misconduct and Security Policy.
The Board routinely imposes penalties on candidates who are found to have violated these provisions. Examples are included in their letter found here: http://www.uakron.edu/dotAsset/2284757.pdf.
Although this is directed at New York bar takers, you need to be aware of the misconduct policy for the state you plan to take the bar.
