Community Legal Aid (Akron, OH) to interview on campus on February 16, 2012
Legal Aid is looking for dedicated, hardworking, and public-interested minded students for its Summer Program. Legal Aid has opportunities available for 2L’s (with or without intern certificate) and 1L’s. Law students who are applying to participate in the Summer Intern Program are expected to work unpaid for at least 10 weeks and may work up to 13 weeks. An Application form and a description of the 2012 Summer Intern Program are available in the Career Planning and Placement Office. Applications (resume, references, writing sample and application form) are to be submitted to Jeanne Kennedy (jeanne2@uakron.edu) no later than January 31, 2012 at 12:00 Noon. DO NOT CONTACT THE FIRM DIRECTLY. ALL MATERIALS ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE CAREER PLANNING OFFICE BY THE DEADLINE DATE. Job is unpaid but students can apply for PIL grant money.
