The Spring Advanced Legal Applications course is offered first to students graduating in May 2015 that are required to take the course. Registration will take place after the November 1st graduation application deadline to insure that all students intending to graduate have applied for graduation. Once all required students are registered for the course then any remaining seats will be registered on a first-come, first-serve basis from the waitlist. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list for the Spring offering, please email Misty D. Franklin at misty@uakron.edu indicating which sections’ waitlist you would like to be placed.

Student Ambassadors wanted for Judge Bell Program on Oct. 30th and 31st.
Earn community service hours: Law students needed to work as student ambassadors at the 3rd Annual Judge Bell Trial Advocacy Program on Oct. 30 and 31. There are three times to choose from: Oct. 30 from 7:00 am – 9:45 am; Oct. 30 from 11:30 am – 4:30 pm; and Oct. 31 from 7:00 am – 1:00 pm. The program will take place at the federal courthouse here in Akron. Student ambassadors will assist the Law School Office of Strategic Initiatives in various duties ensuring that the program operates smoothly. The Judge Bell Trial Advocacy Program is attended by various state and federal judges as well as many local experienced attorneys. Don’t miss out on this great networking opportunity! For all 2L students:
Your Certificate of Dean packet for your Ohio Bar Exam Application to Register as a Candidate for Admission is ready for pick up at the reception desk of the Law Dean’s Office.
The packet includes your Certificate of Dean, one (1) official transcript (if we had a transcript on file), and a fingerprint card. Please make an appointment to have your fingerprints taken as required by the Supreme Court of Ohio: http://www.supremecourt.ohio.gov/AttySvcs/admissions/application/default.asp
This packet is only part of the information required to complete your Application to Register as a Candidate for Admission.
