Akron LLI students traveled to Columbus on March 21, 2015 to compete in the annual statewide LLI mock trial competition. Akron students, Bree Chambers, Deborah Eshun, Khamiyia Fields, Jaden Hescht, Sean Jefferys, Marissa Mariner, Marnetta Singleton and Marion Wilson took home the first place trophy. Akron also won two best attorney awards, Deborah Eshun and Sean Jefferys, and a best witness award, Bree Chambers. The team is coached by attorneys William Dowling, Mark Hilkert and Orville Reed.
