Need Pro Bono Hours? The Legal Defender’s Office will allow you to shadow attorneys and interns representing juveniles at Summit County Juvenile Court. You can also shadow student coordinators who interview the juveniles (6:30-8 am) before their preliminary hearings, and practice interviewing them yourself. If interested in completing hours now or over winter break, please contact Maria Ciccolini (student coordinator) at mtc50@zips.uakron.edu. There is a possibility to hire on after you have shadowed for a paid position as student coordinator for over break and next semester.
