AkronLawJobs No. 9028 Overview: As an intern for Hyland Software, you will be responsible for assisting in formalizing our corporate human resources strategies and support for our growing international workforce. Please note that this internship will begin part-time during the Spring 2018 semester and may become full-time during the Summer 2018 semester.

Responsibilities: Research and analysis of International Human Resources practices in different jurisdictions, identification of requirements for expanding global footprint and associated legal entities; Prepare drafts of relevant documents as needed (supporting documentation, guidelines, and policies); Prepare required legal information for the company’s employee website; Monitor international and national legal developments; Provide team support; Utilize department specific software and tools to complete assignments and tasks; Liaise with other areas to resolve information or project requests by department staff; Compile and analyze information and develop reports, proposals, or documents; Maintain accurate documentation and records on all projects assigned; Engage with peers and team members to obtain knowledge to complete projects; Complete all assignments as directed; and Follow all current standards utilized by your team.

Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an educational institution; Undergraduate or Master’s Student in the field of international business, and/or international business/corporate law (1L or 2L); High level of research, writing, communication and analytical skills; ability to be self-guided; Proficiency with Microsoft Office software products; Attentive to department needs as demonstrated by rapid and high-quality responsiveness to requests; Excellent interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department; Keen attention to detail; Capable of identifying and completing tasks independently, with a sense of urgency and ownership; Demonstrated success in maintaining high personal work standards; Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact; Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the position.
