CourtCall Scholarship Award Opportunity

For the 2018-2019 academic year, CourtCall will present an award of $250.00 to each of two (2) third year law students at each ABA accredited US law school who demonstrate skill in Moot Court, Mock Trial, or Trial Advocacy Programs. The award recipients are to be selected by each school’s Faculty Advisor(s) and there will be no more than two (2) recipients per school even if there are multiple programs or competitions. Further, one student may not receive both awards at a school. Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and the USC Gould School of Law already have award programs with CourtCall and are excluded.

In order for a school to participate for the 2018-2019 academic year, the Faculty Advisor(s) must:

  1. Contact our CEO, Bob Alvarado, at rva@courtcall.com prior to the close of business on 11/2/2018 to register.
  2. Make a written announcement about the CourtCall Award to eligible students on the school’s website that includes the selection criteria from the law school’s Faculty Advisor(s) and provide that announcement and selection criteria to CourtCall at rva@courtcall.com prior to close of business on 11/2/2018.

A school’s selection criteria as determined by the Faculty Advisor(s) may include but are not limited to: top grades, top overall competitive scores, top witness examination, top opening and/or closing statement, best written materials or combinations thereof. CourtCall assumes no liability for a school’s chosen selection criteria.

  1. Inform CourtCall at rva@courtcall.com, on or before April 19, 2019, of the identity of the award recipients as selected in accordance with the announcement and criteria previously provided to CourtCall. CourtCall will send the award directly to each law school’s Faculty Advisor for presentation. The law school will also publish an announcement of the award on its website and social media outlets.
