McDonald Hopkins is committed to creating opportunities for engaged, talented, and diverse law students in growing areas of the practice. The GRAD program is a semester-long program in which selected student(s) will have the opportunity to work with leading attorneys to gain substantive knowledge of practical law firm experience.
McDonald Hopkins has a growing M&A practice, providing client service on the full spectrum of services from preparing and structuring the transaction, due diligence, securing financing, negotiating terms and documents the deal. Students who have an interest in pursuing a legal career in transactional work should apply for this opportunity, which is located in the Cleveland office.

Qualifications: 3L by the Fall of 2018. The firm encourages applicants from groups or populations that have been historically underrepresented in the legal profession or have other unique attributes that would contribute to the diversity of the firm or the legal profession. GRAD Program Terms: Will work 15-20 hours per week and will be paid $20 per hour. In addition, will receive a scholarship award of $5,000. Based on the successful performance and the Firm’s staffing needs, opportunities may be available for a position following graduation.
