Akron, OH – Certified Legal Internship / Externship – Summit County Court of Common Pleas, Juvenile Division

AkronLawJobs No. 9705 Overview: Seeking a team player who works well with others, as the intern will be conducting meetings with law enforcement, victims, witnesses, and going to Court.

Duties: Within a few weeks of the internship, you will begin to receive your own cases to handle from pretrial through trial/disposition. You are guaranteed experience in the courtroom and hands-on access to case management and trial preparation. The office is happy to work with you to develop your schedule. You will be trained and supervised by Delinquency Attorneys.

Qualifications: 2L or 3L; Must be eligible for a legal intern certificate through the Ohio Supreme Court; and you should be able to work a minimum of 16 hours per week.

Please note: This is an UNPAID INTERNSHIP, but you may get class credit if you use this as an EXTERNSHIP. The office is happy to work with you to develop your schedule.
