Samuel Krugliak Legal Scholarship

In 2003 the Samuel Krugliak Legal Scholarship was established to honor the
firm’s founder, Samuel Krugliak who passed away in April of that year. Funds from the Samuel Krugliak Scholarship Endowment will be awarded annually to part-time or full-time students who are currently enrolled at a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (note: incoming first year law students are not eligible); display strong academic achievement; have shown an active commitment to their community; reside or have formerly resided in Stark, Wayne, Carrol, Holmes, Summit, Tuscarawas, Columbiana or Mahoning Counties (the “Stark County Region”) when not attending law school; and desire to pursue the practice of law in the “Stark County Region”. Students/Applicants should exhibit financial need, with priority given to those whose financial need cannot be met through other means such as government grants and loans. The award will be limited to the cost of tuition, books and lab supplies. Students who remain eligible may reapply for the scholarship from year-to-year, thereby assisting students in completing their degrees. Please indicate in the Essay portion, in 250 words or less, why you desire to practice law in the “Stark County Region”. Note: The essay submission must be typewritten.

The application is available on the firm’s website at:
