Duties: Must be working towards a JD, with a preference for candidates pursuing the Health Law Certificate. Have the ability to work on a team or individually. Candidate should be prepared to conduct legal and internet-based research; draft memos, contract provisions, and policies; analyze data relating to regulatory compliance matters and create summaries of the results; work with contract and other administrative databases, and perform other tasks as assigned. Should be comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and have the ability to learn additional software, specific to health care.
Qualifications: 1L or 2L. Must maintain a competitive GPA and be willing to learn. Must be legally authorized to work in the USA. Must be a good communicator, possess a strong work ethic, and be comfortable working in a team to achieve project goals.
Hours: Seeking candidates who are interested in a full-time summer experience, with a stipend paid for hours worked beyond those required to obtain law school credit.
