We are seeking student volunteer mediators for the Neighborhood Mediation Program.
Akron Law partners with the cities of Tallmadge, Stow, and Cuyahoga Falls to provide mediators for citizen disputes. Students who have completed the ADR class at Akron Law have the training necessary to serve in this role. Students serve as mediators in these disputes, gaining legal experience and community service credits as well as connecting with city attorneys.
Currently, the city of Tallmadge needs a mediator to help resolve a dispute between a private citizen and an apartment complex.
