The GCEF Scholarship Fund was established to provide scholarships for LGBTQ+ and allied students throughout Northeast Ohio. Since 2016, the fun has awarded more than $45,000 in scholarships to help local students achieve their higher education goals.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be a student or resident in the geographic area served by GCEF, which includes Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, and Wayne counties.
- Applicants must participate in organizations or initiatives that positively impact the LGBTQ+ community.
Scholarship amounts and the number of awards vary each year. Scholarships are eligible for renewal if the recipient maintains good academic status and reapplies by submitting a new application each year.
