Overview: A semesterly scholarship offered by Stroleny Law to support law or pre-law students pursuing careers as criminal defense attorneys or prosecutors; awarded to one winner each semester to help cover tuition and related educational expenses.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Current law or pre-law student with aspirations to become a defense attorney or prosecutor
- Currently interning for or previously interned at a state attorney’s office, public defender’s office, or private criminal defense firm
- At least 17 years old
- U.S. citizen
Application Requirements:
- Completed application through the OVC Scholarship Network
- Essay of approximately 500 words responding to the prompt about your internship role and how it changed your thinking
- Proof of enrollment at an accredited university or law school
- Letter of recommendation from the office where you have interned or are currently interning
- Any additional materials required by the OVC Scholarship Network submission process
