Overview: The Law Office of Kari H. Fawcett Young Legal Professionals Scholarship supports students who are studying law and intend to practice after graduation. Each semester, the scholarship provides $1,000 to help one student continue their legal education.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled or planning to enroll in a university or law school within the United States.
- Must be studying law with the intent to practice upon graduation.
- Must be at least 17 years old.
- Must be a citizen of the United States.
Application Requirements:
- Completed online scholarship application.
- Proof of enrollment at an accredited university or law school, such as an acceptance letter, class schedule, or other proof of enrollment.
- An essay of no more than 1,000 words responding to the prompt: What responsibility do lawyers have to their clients?
- Essay must be uploaded as a .docx or PDF file.
- Applications must be submitted through the scholarship application page.
