Overview: A semesterly scholarship offered by Lucas Law to help offset tuition, books, and living expenses for students pursuing careers in law; awarded to one student each semester through the OVC Scholarship Network and administered by Lucas Law in Barrington, IL.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Pursuing a career in the legal field (undergraduate or graduate)
- Maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher (or provide most recent semester GPA if current GPA unavailable)
- Enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited U.S. program through the Spring 2027 semester
- At least 17 years old
- U.S. students (implicit by enrollment requirement and firm location)
Application Requirements:
- Completed application form via the OVC Scholarship Network
- Essay (~500 words) answering: “Describe what you hope to achieve throughout your legal career. What strengths do you possess that will help you to reach this goal?” (submit as PDF or .docx)
- Academic transcript(s) and proof of enrollment
