Community Legal Aid is a private, non-profit law firm which works to bridge the gap between poverty and justice for low income and elderly residents of central northeast Ohio. We concentrate our efforts on legal work that makes a difference in the lives of people.
Projects to choose from: Advocacy Project (1 position in Akron); Health Education Advocacy and Law Project (2-3 positions in Akron); Family Law Project (3 positions in Akron, Canton, Warren); Pro Bono Bankruptcy Project / VLSP (2 positions in Akron); Immigration Law Project (1 position Youngstown); Municipal Court Review Project (2 positions in Akron, Canton); and Housing / Consumer Litigation (2 positions in Akron, Canton, Warren and Youngstown).

Earn volunteer hours with Summit County Juv. Court Family Resource Center
The Summit County Juvenile Court Family Resource Center is looking for volunteer tutors to provide homework help in a one on one and small group setting. Tutoring sessions will occur on Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00pm at the Summit County Juvenile Court. Tutoring is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, February 10, 2016. 1Ls and 2Ls – Please join Representatives from the U.S. Marine Corp on Thursday, January 28th at 12:15 PM in the Buckingham Conference Room 101 (the annex attached to CBA across Wolf Ledges) for lunch and a brief presentation about career opportunities with the USMC:
