Now that we are back in the building for exams, Exam Central will be located within the Administrative Suite at the front desk area.  You will come to Exam Central to pick up and return all of your exams during this semester’s exam period.

“Free Slot Exams” must be taken during one of the scheduled “Free Slots” on the schedule.  You need not give advance notice of when you are going to take the exam.  You have the flexibility to take it during any of the Free Slots.  As a matter of process, everyone in the exam room starts work at the same time.  Simplified – the steps are:

1. Check with Exam Central on the designated Free Slot Room and get settled in.
2. Pick up your exam from Exam Central 5 – 15 minutes before the start of the Free Slot.
3. Begin work when the clock in the room hits 9:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., or 6:30 p.m. (depending on your start time). Do not start before this time.
4. Keep your own time. When your time is up.  You have 5 minutes to turn in your exam to Exam Central.

There is still time to register for the spring 2018 Reentry Clinic. Reentry Clinic students represent real clients and engage in a project of statewide impact.  The clinic is tailored to accommodate part-time and full time students. Need Pro Bono Hours? The Legal Defender’s Office will allow you to shadow attorneys and interns representing juveniles at Summit County Juvenile Court. You can also shadow student coordinators who interview the juveniles (6:30-8 am) before their preliminary hearings, and practice interviewing them yourself. If interested in completing hours now or over winter break, please contact Maria Ciccolini (student coordinator) at mtc50@zips.uakron.edu. There is a possibility to hire on after you have shadowed for a paid position as student coordinator for over break and next semester.

BLSA invites you to Snack and Study Holiday Edition! This Thursday from 530-7 BLSA will host its last Snack and Study of the year in the Veterans Lounge. We will have a Holiday Themed Dinner from 530-6, From 6-7 we will have Exam Review Sessions covering 1L and 2L Subjects featuring Professor Cravens and Professor Gibson. All Students are welcome, please have your questions ready!
