Professor Vyas, currently with Akron Law’s SEED Clinic and UA’s EXL Center, will once again be offering his popular Business Planning course this spring. This course will be taught on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 9:30 PM. In addition to introducing you to a wide range of legal issues affecting your future business clients, Business Planning also counts towards the IP Certificate.

CQE Clinic Volunteer Training – Friday, October 28 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Our next free Certificate of Qualification for Employment (CQE) clinic is Saturday, October 29, 2016! We’re very excited to be providing opportunities for ex-offenders in Summit County to take a step toward gaining employment and independence!
We are looking for students to volunteer from 9:30am-12:45pm on Saturday, October 29, 2016. The clinic will be held at the Akron-Summit County Public Library [60 S High St, Akron, OH 44308]. The time you volunteer can be applied toward your graduation requirement as pro bono limited means hours.
There will be a mandatory volunteer training on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 4:30-6:00pm for first timers. The time you are at training will count towards your pro bono limited means hours as well. For those who have completed the training once before, you are more than welcome to attend the training for a refresher. However, you may not count the training towards your pro bono limited means hours again.
