Advising Tables

Do you need advising help?  We are bringing Student Services to you!  Look for Misty Franklin at Quaker Square and the concourse between Buckingham and the College of  Business Administration at one of the dates and times below:

Mondays: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Quaker Square

Tuesdays: 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM in the concourse between Buckingham and the College of Business Administration

Wednesdays: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Quaker Square

Thursdays: 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM in the concourse between Buckingham and the College of Business Administration

If you are unable to stop by one of the tables, feel free to stop by and see Misty in Room 344 of the Law Library or email misty@uakron.edu to set up an appointment.

Add/Drop and Refund Dates

Please make sure that you have added or dropped all courses for the Spring semester prior to the February 2, 2016, this includes the adding of General Writing Requirements for the Spring semester.

Spring 2016 Add/Drop Dates for Law Classes:

Last Day to add classes without signature: Monday, January 25, 2016

Last Day to added classes with instructor, and Dean’s signature: Tuesday, February, 2, 2016

Last Day to drop classes without a “WD”: Tuesday, February 2, 2016

Last Day to drop classes with a “WD”: Monday, March 7, 2016

Start of Summer 2015 Classes

We hope that everyone has been enjoying their break after exams.  We just wanted to remind everyone that due to the Memorial Day holiday the following classes begin on Tuesday, May 26, 2015.   All classes that are scheduled to meet Monday/Wednesday/Friday will meet next week only on Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday.

  • All Clinical Seminar courses
  • Intellectual Property Clinic
  • Basic Business Associations
  • Secured Transactions
  • Oil & Gas

Immigration Law will meet on the following Saturdays: June 27, and July 11, 18 and 25, 2015.  Classes are from 9:00 a.m. until noon.

Grade Posting

Spring 2015 Degree Candidate grades are now available for viewing via your MyAkron account.

All remaining students will be able to view their grades beginning on Wednesday, May 27, 2015.
