We take pride in all of our students’ achievements.  We are especially pleased to announce this year’s honors and awards recipients.  These students have earned the respect of the entire Akron Law community through their achievements and their service.  We commend them for their leadership and their many accomplishments.

Several students have asked whether we would be offering Income Tax next year since it does not appear on the fall schedule. The answer is yes. Professor Dessin will teach income tax during Spring Semester. As you know, we are in the midst of various curriculum changes. Those changes resulted in shifting Income Tax from Fall to Spring. We also understand that the College of Business Administration has shifted Corporate Tax from the Spring to the Fall. Since Income Tax is one of the possible prerequisites to Corporate Tax, a law school offering of Income Tax in the Fall would not have been enough to allow law students to take Corporate Tax at the CBA.
