Your Application to Register as a Candidate for Admission to the Ohio Bar must be received by the Supreme Court of Ohio Bar Admissions Office no later than November 15, 2016.

Your application to take the February 2017 Ohio bar exam is this coming Tuesday, November 1, 2016.
The dates for the February 2017 bar examination are February 21, 22, and 23, 2017. Please see the Supreme Court of Ohio Bar Admissions website for information.

You are invited to learn about the bar exam from someone who has recently written Ohio bar exam questions and scored examinee answers!
You’re also welcome to stick around for the first 2/3 of the ALA class (6:30 – 8:30) for an Alumni Panel Discussion on the bar exam. Three recent graduates, and one family member, will share what it was like to take the bar exam (or support a loved one) and emerge on the other side!
(Open to anyone, but priority will be given to those who expect to take the bar exam in February.)

Nicholas Philips, former Ohio Bar Examiner, will share insights and answer questions about his recent experiences writing and scoring the Ohio bar exam.
This opportunity is primarily directed to December graduates, and will include an introduction to the bar preparation services Akron Law offers. Others are welcome to attend, space permitting. (There will be a similar opportunity next semester.)

November 15, 2016 is the deadline for your Application to Register as a Candidate for Admission to the Practice of Law (for applicants in the second year of law school) to be RECEIVED in the Office of Bar Admissions at the Supreme Court of Ohio in Columbus.
If you requested your Certificate of Dean packet and have not yet picked it up, it is available to pick up from Mary Cooke’s office, Office 103 in the Administrative Suite in McDowell Law Center.
