Willoughby, OH: John D. Mismas, Esq. (The Mismas Law Firm) is seeking a part-time 2nd or 3rd year law student or a full-time 2nd year law student for a law clerk position. The firm’s national practice focuses on plaintiff’s torts and environmental work. Must be willing to work 10-15 hours/week. Work will involve research and writing, going to court with Attorney Mismas and preparing for trials. Must be willing to “get your hands dirty”. Prefers students with real life experience. You will not be permitted to schedule an individual career planning consultation until you attend one of these group sessions. Mark your calendar now! The Clean Energy Trust is seeking motivated graduate students for its inaugural Challenge Venture Committee. Those selected for the committee will work with experienced venture capitalists to identify and support clean energy business concepts with the potential to become sustainable enterprises.
Committee members will have the opportunity to:
- contribute to the commercialization of early-stage clean energy technology
- be mentored by experienced venture capitalists
- provide strategic input to businesses seeking capital
- expand your network in the venture capital and clean energy areas

The University of Akron School of Law Office of External Programs has purchased a table for ten to the Second Annual Women in Law Fashion Show, hosted by the Women in Law Section of the Akron Bar Association. The fashion show, featuring professional dress for men and women, including vintage designs, will be held this Friday, November 11, 2011 at 6 p.m. at Portage Country Club.
