The Law and Leadership Institute seeks a law student to teach eleventh grade students. The Law and Leadership Institute introduces promising high school students from under-served urban communities in Akron, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton and Toledo to the legal profession through an intensive college preparatory program on law and leadership. The student hired would join a law student currently teaching in the program. You must be available to teach on the following dates: January 26, 2012 (4:00-6:30 p.m.), January 27, 2012 (4:00-6:30 p.m.), February 2, 2012 (4:00-6:30 p.m.), February 3, 2012 (4:00-6:30 p.m.), February 11, 2011, February 18, 2011, March 3, 2011, March 24, 2011 and March 31, 2011. Judicial Intern Opportunity Program for minority and economically disadvantaged law students – further info in CPPO
Judicial Intern Opportunity Program: The American Bar Association Section of Litigation is pleased to announce its Summer 2012 Judicial Intern Opportunity Program. The program is a full-time, six week minimum summer internship program open to all first or second year minority and/or economically disadvantaged law students. Applications for second year students are currently being accepted, and applications for first year students will be accepted beginning December 1st. The deadline to apply for the Program is January 6, 2012. Selected students will be given an opportunity to intern for six or more weeks during the summer with a participating state or federal judge.
