GCEF Scholarship

The GCEF Scholarship Fund was established to provide scholarships for LGBTQ+ and allied students throughout Northeast Ohio. Since 2016, the fun has awarded more than $45,000 in scholarships to help local students achieve their higher education goals.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Applicants must be a student or resident in the geographic area served by GCEF, which includes Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, and Wayne counties.
  • Applicants must participate in organizations or initiatives that positively impact the LGBTQ+ community.

Scholarship amounts and the number of awards vary each year. Scholarships are eligible for renewal if the recipient maintains good academic status and reapplies by submitting a new application each year.

LMJ SCHOLARSHIP

Apply to the LMJ Scholarship Program today and be a part of the next generation of legal leaders!

The LMJ Scholarship is a diversity pipeline program that seeks to nurture the academic and professional careers of outstanding diverse law students. The LMJ Scholarship program grants scholarships of $10,000 to students for their first year of law school. In addition to financial support, LMJ scholars are connected with and have access to MCCA’s extensive community of legal law firms and in house peers, alumni, and mentors, who are available to provide professional support, share opportunities and insights, and offer guidance on addressing academic and professional barriers.

Over the past 18 years, the LMJ Scholarship program has provided over $3.7 Million in scholarships.

Marsala Law Group Lifelong Hobby Scholarship

Each semester, our criminal defense firm offers college students the opportunity to be awarded $1,000 through the Marsala Law Group Lifelong Hobby Scholarship. Attorney Dominick Marsala understands how difficult it can be to pursue personal interests outside of school and work, and he believes it is incredibly valuable to maintain such hobbies throughout your life, despite challenging transitions and busy schedules. Through the Marsala Law Group Lifelong Hobby Scholarship, our firm works to provide students with financial assistance to help them pursue their goals and passions.

The Blossom Law Caregiver Scholarship

I am reaching out to you today to inform you about a scholarship opportunity our law firm has launched last semester. Blossom Law is a bankruptcy law firm out of Charlotte, North Carolina and we truly care about our clients and our community. Each semester we will be awarding one student each semester with the $1,000 Blossom Law Caregiver Scholarship.

The Blossom Law Caregiver Scholarship is eligible for college students throughout the United States who have earned a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The scholarship requires an essay submission and is due March 7, 2023.
