I’m writing on behalf of Elite Lawyer, a directory and rating service that recognizes high-achieving attorneys. Previously, our scholarship has been shared with your students on your scholarship page. I wanted to let you know that we are once again offering a scholarship for Fall 2023.

 

The $1,000 scholarship supports college students who have a passion for making a difference in their communities. The deadline to apply is July 18, 2023. We are the Law Office of Jerry D. Andrews, and we are contacting you today to share our biannually awarded scholarship contest. Our Community Impact Scholarship awards two undergraduate students each semester with $2,500 of funds to use toward their education, including tuition and books.

Through our scholarship, we hope to reach students who demonstrate a passion for serving their communities, exhibit strong leadership qualities, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Law Offices of Tedone & Morton, a family law firm in Illinois recently launched a scholarship program – The Cancer Survivorship Scholarship to help those affected by cancer: patients, survivors, and their loved ones.

Our team personally understands the effects of this battle and is inspired by the strength and courage of those impacted by cancer the most. The Cancer Survivorship Scholarship will be offered twice a year and will award one student $1,000 each semester.

ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR FALL 2023

At Hoggatt Injury Law, we are passionate about supporting workers and their families whose lives have been affected by work-related injuries. We know that workplace injuries can have far-reaching financial ramifications, including when it comes to a family’s ability to provide for their children’s educational expenses.

We hope to help families address this challenge by offering a scholarship to the child of an employee who has been injured or killed in a work-related accident. The Hoggatt Injury Law Children of Injured Workers Scholarship provides $1,000 to assist with a student’s tuition and other educational expenses at their chosen college or university anywhere in the United States.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

You are eligible to apply for the Fall 2023 Hoggatt Injury Law Children of Injured Workers Scholarship if:

• Your parent has been affected by a work-related injury
• You are enrolled (or will be) in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited U.S. college or university through at least the Fall 2023 semester
• You are a U.S. citizen
• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have a current cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
