Race Ipsa Loquitor – Registration Deadline is FRIDAY

There are only two days left to sign up for discount rate for the Race Ipsa Loquitur!  Join SBA in raising money for the Akron Food Bank.  If you submit a registration form  to Bradford Carlton  Eli Heller, or another SBA rep  by Friday April 15th  you can still only pay 20 dollars.  If you are unsure and want to wait to see what the lovely North East Ohio weather will do, that’s fine as well.  Runners may sign up the day of the race, but registration will skyrocket up to a whopping 25 dollars. The race is open Akron Law students, faculty, and non law students alike.  There will be lunch provided at the Barley House  for those who help participate in the race.  Any questions please contact Eli Heller at Elirheller@gmail.com. Thank you.

JRCLS – Election Meeting – April 15, noon, W-208

The J. Reuben Clark Law Society will be holding officer elections for the 2011-2012 school year at noon on April 15 in W-208. Please come out and JRCLS and become a part of a great student organization. For those of you that are interested in JRCLS: We affirm the strength brought to the study of law by a law student’s personal religious conviction. We strive through public service and diligence in our studies to promote fairness and virtue founded upon the rule of law. In fulfilling its mission statement, the Student Chapter is guided by the philosophy, personal example, and values of its namesake, J. Reuben Clark, Jr. Those values include: (1) public service, (2) loyalty to the rule of law, and (3) appreciation for the religious dimension in society and in a law student’s personal life.
