The Federalist Society will be hosting “Debate with the Dean: Should Judges Be Elected or Appointed?” on Thursday, October 7, at 12:15 pm in Room 151. Dean Martin H. Belsky, who serves as vice-president of the American Judicature Society, and John Park, visiting legal fellow at The Heritage Foundation, will delve into the hot topic of judicial selection. Free Quiznos lunch!

The Law Associaton for Women will be selling pies Monday, October 11th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the student lounge to raise money for the organization.

Kick It is a national grass roots fundraising organization that unites communities in the fight against pediatric cancer through a simple and fun game that everyone can play: Kickball. Student Organizations, Faculty and Alumni are invited to form teams, or come individually to help raise money for a good cause. The event will take place on the Softball Fields here on the University of Akron Campus. Lunch will be provided, all we ask in order to play is a $5 donation.

Delta Theta Phi will be holding their General Meeting on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 5 pm in W-210. We will be discuss upcoming events, community service opportunities, and leadership positions that are available. Everyone is welcome. Food will be provided!!
