You’re invited to the BLSA Halloween Fundraiser!

Tickets will be on sale everyday at the law school and are available online.
Tickets are $15 and $10 for BLSA dues paying members.
BLSA Snack and Study/ General Body Meeting is Monday, October 23rd, at 5:15pm in room 240.
The general body meeting will be from 5:15-6pm and Snack and Study will run directly afterwards.
Snack and Study is open to ALL STUDENTS. 1Ls are encouraged to attend.
Our next free Certificate of Qualification for Employment (CQE) clinic is Saturday, October 28, 2017! We’re very excited to be providing opportunities for ex-offenders in Summit County to take a step toward gaining employment and independence!
We are looking for students to volunteer from 9:15am-1:00pm on Saturday, October 28, 2017. The clinic will be held at the Akron-Summit County Public Library [60 S. High St., Akron, OH 44308]. The time you volunteer can be applied toward your graduation requirement as pro bono limited means hours.
There will be a mandatory volunteer training on Friday, October 28, 2017 from 4:30-6:00pm for first timers. Location of the training will be announced the week of the clinic. The time you are at training will count towards your pro bono limited means hours as well. For those who have completed the training once before, you are more than welcome to attend the training for a refresher. However, you may not count the training towards your pro bono limited means hours again.

Come and learn what Voting rights you currently have and Don’t have, and which ones are currently being challenged, at Local, State, and Federal Levels. We’ll have a panel of experts on Election Law, both Locally and Federally. Learn how you can get involved, regardless of which way you land on the fight. Food will be provided for this important and timely community event, so bring a friend!
To everyone who has already purchased a ticket for Barrister’s Ball we would like to thank you and look forward to seeing you tonight at the event!
The Ball will kick off at Tangier’s at 7:00 PM and go on until 11:00 PM. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available.
All students, faculty, staff, administration, and guests are welcome! Attire is semi-formal (ladies are generally in cocktail-style dresses, and slacks/jacket for the gentlemen).
Tickets will be available at the door for any last-minute attendees. These tickets will be $25.00 and for CASH-ONLY purchase.
