Today is the last day of the fundraiser designed around Professor Huhn’s retirement walk and celebration. If you have not made your donation to Students Embracing a Legacy’s online fundraiser, today is your last chance.
They have raised over $3,200 and would like to take that number as high as possible before the campaign closes. Please visit www.startsomegood.com/studentlegacy2015 to make your donation and support Professor Huhn’s wish to raise money for the law school.

Just a reminder that Professor Huhn will be doing his 25 mile walk through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park this weekend. Details regarding his walk can be found here.
If you can’t make it out to walk with him on Saturday or Sunday, you can meet him at the law school at 8:00 a.m. on Monday when he arrives to begin his last week of teaching at the University of Akron School of Law. You can also join him in making a donation to the 2015 class gift. Professor Huhn has already donated $525 here.
Any donations made via this site by Class of 2015 students will be submitted to the law school for inclusion in the graduation packet.
The Alumni Awards and Class Reunion Dinner will be held on Friday, May 15 at 5:30 p.m. at the Quaker Square Inn. Over 200 Akron Law alumni will be in attendance. This is a perfect opportunity to network and support Akron Law. The first ten students to RSVP for this dinner will receive complimentary tickets. All other tickets will be sold to students for $25 per person (discounted from $50).
It gets even better! Akron Law is holding an alumni golf outing on Saturday, May 16 beginning at 7:00 a.m. This four man scramble includes a hot breakfast, golfing, and lunch. Celebrate the end of finals and connect with alumni on the golf course. We are offering a discounted price for students of $50 per person (discounted from $100).

The award is presented by the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland and is part of the Akron Bar Association Law Week Celebration. It is presented each year at the Red Mass in recognition of a member of the legal community who demonstrates outstanding personal integrity, community service and professional excellence.
