Important Message from Dean Martin H. Belsky

Dear Akron Law Alums-in-Waiting:

On June 30, I will reach the end of my term as Dean.   Yesterday afternoon, I told the Provost that I will not be seeking reappointment as the Dean of The University of Akron School of Law.

Over the past five years, I have met many of you for lunch or dinner and then again in class or other law school functions.  We are proud of your successes and your membership in our Akron Law community.

For our incoming alums in waiting, I look forward to meeting you on June 16th at our admitted student program.

After completing my term as Dean, I will return to full-time teaching at the Law School.

I have appreciated your intellectual curiosity, friendship, and support, and have enjoyed my time as your Dean.  I look forward to continuing as a faculty member.  This is an outstanding law school with a talented and impressive faculty and staff, loyal and active alumni, and interesting and challenging “alums in waiting.”

Our talented team of administrators will continue to be here to serve you.

Thanks for all you do!

 Marty

ASP Resource Library Changes!

The ASP Resource Library is now in a new and different order. All academic resources are now organized alphabetically by series title, beginning on the south wall and including the west and north walls, as well. Resources for 1Ls are on the north wall, as are writing resources. Nutshells, flash cards, bar review materials and miscellaneous resources are on the east wall. All the same great resources (and a few new ones) are available for your use. Enjoy! If you have any questions, please speak with ASP Director Donna K. Palmer, Esq.
