Trial Team Information Session – Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 5:00pm
Join Trial Attorney Kevin Kita of Sutter, O’Connell and Farcione as he discusses the advantages of joining the Nationally Ranked Akron Law Trial team.
Trial team students may earn 2 to 3 credits of elective coursework each semester. Come discuss the benefits and advantages of being a member of the Akron Law trial team with a leading litigation attorney.

Interested in IP? Come to the Meeting with USPTO Officials on 2/24 at 12:15 in Buckingham Room 101
On Wednesday, February 24th, officials from the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office will be at Akron Law. From 12:15 – 1:15 PM, these USPTO representatives are hosting a meeting with students interested in intellectual property law. During the meeting, they’ll discuss job opportunities at the USPTO, the patent bar exam, the Trademark Clinic, and any other IP-related issues you’re interested in.
We’ll be meeting in room 101 in the Buckingham Building (across Wolf Ledges Pkwy from the law school) and we’ll have pizza for everyone who attends. If you’re interested in attending, please email Prof. Vacca (vacca@uakron.edu) before noon next Monday so we can have an accurate headcount and enough food for everyone.
