Community Service Limited Means Opportunity!

East South Street Neighborhood Watch and Christ is the Answer Ministries sponsors a free community meal every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 379 E. South Street, Akron, Ohio 44311. Volunteers are needed to set up for the meal, serve food, and clean up after the meal. Please join the ACLU TODAY at the University of Akron School of Law in a riveting presentation entitled “Immigration Brutality”. Attorney Farhad Sethna will be the guest speaker for the event. Come find out about problems that immigrants in America face and get all your questions about immigration answered. The Law School Democrats will be hosting a ‘Meet-and-Greet’ with the Honorable Judge Thomas A. Teodosio TODAY from 12:15-1pm in L-167. As a special surprise, the Honorable Judge Linda Tucci Teodosio of the Summit County Juvenile Court has agreed to accompany Judge Thomas Teodosio. Both judges will be speaking about their paths to becoming a judge and the upcoming election. Boston Market will be served for lunch. No RSVP required–we hope to see you there!!
