Peace in the Middle East: A Discussion of the Recent Developments in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict (Oct. 18, 12:30, L-165)

The Jewish Law Students Association and The Federalist Society are pleased to co-sponsor this discussion featuring Northwestern University School of Law’s Professor Eugene Kontorovich speaking with a guest from the American Federation of Ramallah, Palestine. The discussion will focus on the international law surrounding the recent Palestinian bid to the United Nations for statehood.

The event will take place Tuesday, October 18th at 12:30 PM in L-165. Lunch will be provided by Olive Garden.

The Akron Law community will gather to watch U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder honor 16 “Champions of Change” in a live presentation from the White House. The Spring 2012 schedule has been distributed to the ua-law listserv.  Please make sure you check your email and do not delete this message.  At this time the University is still experiencing server problems preventing us from being able to post this information to the web.  Also, due to the University unforseen circumstances not only is the Law School schedule unavailable through Zipline, but the entire University Spring 2012 schedule has also not yet been released.  As we receive information on the release of this information, we will keep you posted.  Until then, please use the Spring 2012 schedule attached to the email to begin your Spring semester planning.  Also mark your calendars with the below registration dates, keeping in mind that registration opens at 6:00 P.m. on the dates listed.  Attention First Year Full and Part-time Students: The Dean’s Office will register you for all Spring 2012 classes.
