Celebrate Constitution Day with the Federalist Society on Sept. 16 at 12:15 in room L-151! Robert Alt from the Heritage Foundation will be speaking on “The 10th Amendment: Liberty’s Best Hope or Tea Party Delusion?” The talk will focus on renewed interests in the 10th Amendment by tea party groups, and whether constitutional challenges to the Healthcare Bill that are based on that Amendment have any chance of success. Action Link is seeking a part-time Contracts Technician for its Akron office. The Contracts Technician is responsible for the following duties: reviews draft contracts to ensure the proposed program falls within the normal scope established by the executive team; checks for problematic language, calculation errors, and typos in contracts drafted by the sales and client services teams, prior to approving the contract for receipt by the client; communicates with the Accounting team to ensure they receive relevant information prior to invoicing the clients; and tracks active contracts from draft stage to completion of program. The Contracts Technician will work approximately 15 hours a week during normal business hours (8am – 6pm) on a pre-approved schedule of his/her choosing.
