Responsibilities: The successful candidate will work side-by-side with members of the Law Organization in the handling of legal matters. Interns in the Law Organization are given broad responsibilities and experiences including drafting responses to administrative agencies, creating persuasive position statements on the legal issues or fact situations, researching and analyzing legal issues, reviewing and commenting on transactional matters and providing assistance to legal professionals in the following practice components: Corporate & Finance, Operations, Litigation, Business Development and Environmental, Safety & Security.

Qualifications: Desired Majors: Technical undergraduate degree preferred. The preferred applicant is a second year law student with top quartile grades and either Moot Court or Law Review experience. Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future. Positions are available summer term. A valid driver’s license is required. Military experience a plus

Travel: 10% of the time
