Barberton Parks & Recreation Department is having a Fall Family Fun Night on October 6th from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. They are in need of volunteers for the event. Interested volunteers should contact Lisa McLean, 330.861.7135.
Beacon Charity Pharmacy is hosting Blues, Brews & All That Jazz on Thursday, Sept. 13th at the MAPs Air Museum, located at 2260 International Pkwy, North Canton, OH 44720. They are seeking 5-8 volunteers to assist from 5pm to 9pm. The Gay-Straight Law Alliance is hosting Erik Meinhardt of the ACLU of Ohio on September 6th at 12:15pm in Room 161! He will be giving a presentation on “LGBT Rights: On the Path to Equality,” talking about the history of LGBT rights and the current status of LGBT Rights in various aspects of the law.
