Income Tax to be offered during Spring 2015
Several students have asked whether we would be offering Income Tax next year since it does not appear on the fall schedule. The answer is yes. Professor Dessin will teach income tax during Spring Semester. As you know, we are in the midst of various curriculum changes. Those changes resulted in shifting Income Tax from Fall to Spring. We also understand that the College of Business Administration has shifted Corporate Tax from the Spring to the Fall. Since Income Tax is one of the possible prerequisites to Corporate Tax, a law school offering of Income Tax in the Fall would not have been enough to allow law students to take Corporate Tax at the CBA.
Health Law Certificate Program – Sign-Ups Start TODAY
All students interested in signing up for the Health Law Certificate Program should stop by Prof. Van Tassel’s office (room 303 on the third floor of the Law Library) to sign up for a time to meet and fill out the necessary paperwork. Sign up sheets are posted on Prof. Van Tassel’s door.
Until you have met with Prof. Van Tassel and completed the application to the program, you cannot be considered for the certificate.
If you have any questions, please contact Prof. Van Tassel at vantassel@uakron.edu.
