Thompson Hine Summer Associate/1L Diversity Fellowship (2019)

Overview
To further our commitment to diversity, Thompson Hine has established a 1L Diversity Fellowship in our Atlanta office and each of our Ohio offices: Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton. This is a unique opportunity for students to gain valuable experience, and receive mentoring and training, early in their legal career. Students selected for the Diversity Fellowship will receive a paid summer associate position for the duration of our 10-week 2019 summer program, plus $5,000 at the successful completion of the summer program. Those who receive and accept offers to return for a second summer will receive an additional $5,000 in the spring of 2020 and will be eligible to apply for our 2L Diversity Scholarship.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this opportunity, students must be attending a law school that is accredited in the United States and be classified as a member of a minority racial/ethnic group set forth by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission or a member of the LGBT community.  In addition, candidates must be committed to practicing in the resident office state upon graduation.

How to Apply

Complete an on-line application, including the 1L Diversity Fellowship section, and attach a cover letter (indicating office of interest), resume, transcript (when available) and personal statement.
